A genuinely special piece. This mid-century evening bag combines two distinct craft techniques in one stunning object — the front panel is a finely worked needlepoint tapestry featuring a lush floral bouquet of pink roses, orange tulips, and bleeding heart flowers against a black ground, while the rest of the bag is covered in densely packed black micro beads.


Condition is very good vintage. Beadwork is intact and dense throughout, the tapestry panel is vivid and undamaged, and the gold frame functions well. Light age-appropriate wear consistent with the era.
